“Streaming Video Coloring” is a call connection service that displays streaming video content with ‘Coloring’ (cellular call-ring-back-tone) when video calls are made between WCDMA subscribers.
Subscribers can convert their streaming video service to 30-second Streaming Video ‘Coloring’. The Monthly flat rate for the service is KRW 1,500, and each information use fee costs KRW900. Promotional events that are designed to offer a free monthly flat rate and UCC ‘Coloring’ will be held until the end of August.
If you make a video call to Mr. Kim who uses the 3G+ service, a unique streaming video scene is displayed on your mobile phone instead of “Coloring” (cellular call-ring-back-tone) music. The video scene shows Mr. Kim saying “How are you today? I am Mr. Kim. How is my hair style? Is it all right? I changed my hair style a couple of days ago. Wait a second please. I will receive your call at once. This interesting and unique streaming video is enjoyable, and it makes callers happy
Streaming Video ‘Coloring’ functions like a cellular call-ring-back-tone, replacing SK Telecom’s conventional ‘Coloring’ service. A variety of streaming videos such as movie broadcasting content, TV commercials and movie star videos can be displayed on a callers’ mobile phone when call receivers designate a specific streaming video as a cellular call-ring-back-tone.
Notably, this service enables users to produce their own 30-second streaming video by editing pictures and videos they produced on their own. This is done through a video editing program offered in SK Telecom’s T World homepage. An SK Telecom official said that the service offers varied Streaming Video Coloring content such as video and flash, as well as user-created content (UCC). This will satisfy the younger generation’s intense desire to express themselves in their own unique way
The monthly flat rate for this service is KRW1,500, and each information use fee is KRW1,000 when purchasing the information on the T World homepage, and KRW900 when purchasing the information on the wireless Internet called “NATE”. Promotional events that are designed to make free offers of a monthly flat rate and UCC Coloring, will be held until the end of August. During the event, WCDMA subscribers can experience and test streaming videos they produce on their own. In celebration of the releasing of the “Streaming Video Coloring” service, SK Telecom will also select specific Streaming Video Coloring users who use Streaming Video Coloring from June 18th to July 18th. This will be done by drawing lots, which include the granting of free gifts such as notebook computers, overseas flight tickets and hotel accommodation packages.
