#1. My little puppy feels lonely without me. I am worried about his welfare while I am taking a trip.
#2. My son just had his first birthday. I miss him so much. Every time I make a phone call, I ask about him. But it is not enough.
#3. I have a student working in my convenience store. I am worrying whether he is doing his job well. I cannot stay in the store all the time, so I feel uneasy.
When installing a video camera in an Internet-enabled computer in house or office, its streaming video image can be transmitted to the customer’s mobile phone through our WCDMA service and network, on a real time basis. Any WCDMA service subscriber can use this service by pressing ##0565 and the “VU” button on their mobile phone.
The VU Monitoring service also lets customers send and receive voice messages as well as streaming video, from a remote distance. This lets customers have voice communication with a person who does not have a phone, while monitoring him or her in real time. In addition, when the customer calls the name of the puppy inside his house with a WCDMA-enabled mobile phone while monitoring the puppy inside the house from a far distance, the puppy can hear and react to the customer’s voice through a camera installed in the computer in the house.
Customers can use the service after subscribing to it through the T World homepage (www.tworld.co.kr) > 3G+ > VU Monitoring. The video call will be charged KRW30 per ten seconds, and no information use fee will be charged until August 10th which is three months after the launching of the service. After three months, KRW3,000 per month will be charged as an information use fee.
