Customers can use a variety of new services such as ’NATE Drive’, 1mm, ’MONETA’, etc.
This site introduces optimized wireless data product packages by analyzing a customers’ handset models and service use patterns.
Customers are allowed to directly experience, and then select, SK Telecom’s cutting-edge mobile services offline, as well as online.
SK Telecom announced that the company will open a one on one customized service experience site called "SKTWorld" (www.sktworld.com) starting on the 1st of July. This site lets customers enjoy new mobile services via online, free of charge
Through "SKTWorld", customers can use advanced services regardless of the type of mobile phone they have. These include NATE, June, NATE Drive, 1mm, MONETA, MoVille, satellite DMB, etc.
When customers log into the site they can find the same handset model they are actually using offline, on the screen. There, they can simulate mobile services such as ’NATE’ and ’June’. If they try to simulate services that are not supported by their handset, the services-enabled handset will appear on the screen at once.
When using the 1mm service, the photo of a 1mm service-enabled handset and initial service start screen will emerge on the left side of the screen. As customers press the keypad of the handset photo, or click the menu button on the initial service start screen, they are able to experience virtual services in the same mobile environment they would experience offline.
This lets customers who could not use the service due to unaffordable service rates, or handsets that do not support the services, obtain detailed service information, as well as experience the services, free of charge.
Customers can access information about value-added services, their current service rates, and appropriate handsets, when they click the ’My Page’ section located on the right upper part of the main ’SKTWorld’ site. They are also able to verify new service subscriptions and the cancellation of existing value added services, on a real-time basis.
The ’SKTWorld’ site has another feature called the ’My Type Mobile’ menu. It recommends value-added services suitable for each customer by analyzing a customer’s service use patterns. Its ’Mobile Together’ section also offers detailed information about wireless data services that fit the customer’s sex and age.
In addition, the site lets customers enjoy a ’Free Experience Tour’ section that lets them use the latest mobile services free of charge for one month. This is done by downloading a new service-enabled handset. It also provides a ’Peripherals Mall’ section that sells mobile phone accessories such as battery re-chargers.
The ’SKTWorld’ site also facilitates customer convenience in obtaining new service information because it is connected to SK Telecom’s new service online sites such as MelOn, Cizle, and GXG.
