Lets customers download music content while watching a satellite DMB musical program
Starting on August 9th, SK Telecom launches a "Music Code" service that lets customers conveniently use a bundle of wireless Internet music content with specific numbers given for each type of content. This includes bell sounds, call ring sound (Coloring), Karaoke, etc.
When the customers access NATE service by pressing <**0000000 + call button> - seven code numbers given per each song, they are connected with the menu page that allows them to enjoy the music content of the corresponding song. The code numbers can be identified through a variety of channels like cable TV’s musical programs (m.net and KMTV), a song list book for Karaoke, or the website.
Previously customers had to connect the bell sound menu and the Coloring menu respectively to set one popular song on their cellular phone for their bell sound and call ring sound. However, with Music Code service, they can connect to only one menu page that corresponds to that popular song, and conveniently use music video, Karaoke, as well as bell sound and call ring sound at the same time.
SK Telecom plans to offer a combined broadcasting and wireless Internet service that lets customers download music content while watching a satellite DMB musical program. They can convert the musical broadcasting program to a content use menu, and then change to broadcasting program again on their cellular phone, after downloading musical content.
SK Telecom’s "Music Code" service offers greater convenience by eliminating multiple searching, and letting the customer enjoy a wide spectrum of content at the same time.
