SK Telecom announced that on May 19th, a delegation headed by Lee Hsien Loong, vice-premier of Singapore, visited SK Telecom’s head office and discussed cooperation plans between SK Telecom and Singaporean telecom companies with Shin Bae Kim, president of SK Telecom. The Korean Presidential House gave the vice-premier of Singapore treatment as an honored national guest from May 17th to 21st.

SK Telecom president Kim received Vice-Premier Lee and his delegation, and had a pleasant talk with them. At the meeting, president Kim explained the current status of SK Telecom’s overseas business operations to Vice-Premier Lee, and asked him to maintain a continued interest in cooperative efforts between SK Telecom and Singaporean telecom companies, in the future.

The participants in the meeting were: Lee Hsien Loong, vice-premier of Singapore, Calvin Eu, Singaporean ambassador to Korea, Ong Ye Kung, head-secretary of the vice-premier, Chua Thai Keong, director of the Singaporean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lim Swee Nian, deputy-director of the Singaporean Economic Development Council, Shin Bae Kim, president of SK Telecom, Jin Woo Seo, head of SK Telecom’s New Business Group, Sung Chul Hong, head of SK Telecom’s Global Business Division, and Dong Sup Ji, head of SK Telecom’s Management Strategy Office.
