Press Release
The company provides mobile office environments which help users implement their marketing activities, and access real-time information related to their tasks, while the user is on the move.
Working efficiency is improved through enhancing productivity and shortening the time period required for outside business proceedings.
"You do not need an office anymore. Now all of your tasks can be done through a mobile office"
SK Telecom provides full-fledged mobile office environments by launching NATE SFA (Sales Force Automation) service.
The company introduces the NATE SFA service to sales people, starting on the 10th of July 2002, through PDAs equipped for NATE service use. This service is exclusively designed for corporate clients, and allows corporate users to access various information required for sales and on-the-spot payments.
In the case of people dedicated to such services as distribution, insurance, after-sale services, and delivery, wanting to receive information necessary for sales, or on-the-spot payments, they need to contact their offices. However, using the PDA that provides the NATE SFA service, they can freely gain any information necessary for their sales activities such as customer information, inventory status, and sales performances on a real-time basis. Moreover, they can make credit card payments on the spot.
An SK Telecom official commented "Sales patterns will be changed through enhancing productivity and shortening the time period for outdoor business proceedings". "SK Telecom expects that the number of corporate clients dedicated to outdoor business activities, will reach about 500 thousand by 2005, growing from 68 thousand in 2002. Therefore, the NATE SFA service will solidify its position as a practical corporate solution in the mobile office market," he added.
For NATE SFA service usage, SK Telecom charges monthly flat rates ranging from 10,000 won to 30,000 won in accordance with the service functions offered to each corporate client. PDA usage rates will also be charged according to the data volume used by clients. If the company provides additional devices such as mobile printers or credit card readers, additional rates will be charged.
