SK Telecom (www.sktelecom.com) announces full-scale launch into the mobile market of ASP for the corporate customer.
For this project, SK Telecom built strategic collaborations in the ASP business for mobile group-ware with IBM, Microsoft and HandySoft, leading members in the industry. On November 5, they discussed executing and retaining collaborative marketing and application solutions.
In addition, SK Telecom has developed wired and wireless package products that retain marketing and application solutions. It conducts collaborative marketing for the corporate customers who possess the group-ware solution while maximizing the collaborative synergy.
Based on this, SK Telecom in November of this year will conduct a trial service, then in December will provide full scale commercial service of ASP with mobile group-ware.
To enhance group-ware, SK Telecom will also expand the service area to allow the use of core business solutions such as a sales management system(SFA) and customer management system(CRM) in the wireless environment.
ASP in Mobile group-ware is a system that enables a company’s group-ware to be used for constructing, operating and managing a wireless Internet network in a mobile environment. This service allows the company’s employees to view the company mail, billboard, addresses and electronic transactions through the cellular phone, PDA, and VMT(Vehicle Mounted Terminal).
The corporate customers who use the group-ware of SK Telecom will realize substantial economic benefits and increased productivity while minimizing the initial investment required for constructing a wireless system for the mobile environment. It will also yield substantial benefits by facilitating prompt execution of business activities.
