The Vice-minister of Department General of Post and Telecommunication of Vietnam visited SK Telecom’s Network R&D Center and closely watched a demonstration of CDMA2000 1X services.
Moon-Soo Pyo, president of SK Telecom, had a pleasant and productive talk with the vice-minister regarding strengthening cooperative ties in the CDMA service business.
Vietnamese high ranking government officials continue to visit SK Telecom to discuss cooperation in the CDMA cellular phone service business in Vietnam.
SK Telecom (www.sktelecom.com) announced that on September 13, Tran Duc Lai, vice-minister of Department General of Post and Telecommunication of Vietnam, and his delegation visited SK Telecom’s Network R&D Center and closely watched a demonstration of CDMA2000 1X services. This followed the visit of Tran Duc Luong, the Head of State of Vietnam, his esteemed wife, and his delegation on August 24. The vice-minister and his delegation had a pleasant and productive talk with Moon-Soo Pyo, president of SK Telecom, regarding strengthening cooperative ties in the CDMA service business.
The delegation consisted of a group of 5 people including the vice-minister and director of the International Cooperation Bureau. SK Telecom outlined the company?s general profile and its CDMA cellular service business plan in Vietnam to them. In addition, SK Telecom engineers demonstrated the n.TOP wireless data service with moving image transmission using the CDMA2000 1X system.
At a closed session, the delegation moved to SK Telecom?s head office and talked over the cooperative scheme of CDMA technology deployment in Vietnam with Moon-Soo Pyo, president of SK Telecom.
