The "Classroom of Love" is focused on offering undernourished children food as well as the proper time and energy to better learn in the special 14 day two hour training sessions in the program. These sessions involve the teaching of basic computer theory, e-mail usage, and conducting Internet searches.
Moon-Soo Pyo, president of SK Telecom, in commenting on its importance said "This program is not only about supporting the provision of food, but it is designed to help unfortunate children create and grow their own self-esteem. By doing this, we allow them to perform properly in their school life and grow into a better and more constructive part of society." SK Telecom will help provide a dinner box to the candidates of "The Classroom of Love" by joining with 12 other organizations that are involved in the provision of meals in order to furnish continuous support for undernourished children. According to a research report from the education board, at the present time there are 164,000 students who possibly fit in the category of undernourished children and that is 2% of the elementary, junior and high school students nationwide.
